began her career as a designer and illustrator in New York City where she designed retail stores, sets for fashion videos, and a line of children’s dishware and tableware for Conran’s Department Store. Lizi expanded her talents into the corporate arena, designing and illustrating ad campaigns for New England’s leading advertising agencies. Since 1987, Lizi has concentrated her efforts on children’s books, publishing over a dozen titles, which she has both written and illustrated, including MOUSE IN A HOUSE and BLACK DOG, RED HOUSE, both published by Little, Brown & Co. Many of her temperas and pastel paintings hang in private collections throughout New England and in New York, including Chemical Bank and The Museum of Modern Art.
