developed a love for writing as an amateur sports journalist covering Davidson College basketball and the Carolina Panthers. In the time since, he has taught 7th grade Language Arts and has published work on the representation of disability in Pixar films. He has a lengthy list of food allergies (peanuts, nuts, dairy, eggs, kiwi, shellfish, barley, sesame, among others), and he is a passionate advocate for children in that community.
