is a former Spanish teacher who now teaches Writing for Children at Hofstra University in New York. She lives with her husband and their cat, Teddy, in Jericho, Long Island. AND DON’T BRING JEREMY, Levinson’s first book, was nominated for Children’s Book Awards in four states and was chosen to represent the United States at the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) Documentation Center of Books for Disabled Young People, which is housed and serviced at the Norwegian Institute for Special Education. Her other titles include RUFUS AND MAGIC RUN AMOK and NO BOYS ALLOWED.
